Just wanna write down

Hello, this is the first time I’ve written a blog in English. Even though I’ve been studying IELTS for about a year, I still feel like there’s so much more to learn. Honestly, I’m not confident in my English yet so you will find it awkward.

Today was a busy day for me, and I just wanted to write something down to relax and find some joy. There are so many emotions inside me, and it’s really hard to express them all in English since my vocabulary isn’t strong enough. Still, I want to start step by step and become more fluent in English.

Saturdays are usually full of hope for me — they’re my favorite day of the week because I don’t have to work, and I can do many things I enjoy. But now I have to study all day on Saturday, so I feel a bit stressed about everything today.

Ah, I just remembered — I recently published my first Notion template! I don’t know if it will become popular or if anyone will download it, but I’m really satisfied with my work.

It’s already the second week of October; time flies so fast. I’ll have my mid-term tests soon, so I’m preparing for them. I really want to do my best, get good marks, and put in as much effort as possible.

Yesterday, I finished another book — it’s about a person who repairs pianos (I’m not sure what that job is called in English). There’s a quote in it that says, “If you have to make an effort to do something, it’s not what you truly want.”
I think it means that when you truly want to do something, you can do it again and again without feeling like it’s work or a deadline to meet. It feels like opening a present or enjoying a sweet piece of cake. When we put genuine effort into something, the result is just a byproduct. That’s the most memorable and worthwhile lesson I learned from the book.
